| Odie our special boy, when Odie was just 3 and a half months old he was bitten by a copper head snake neally taking him to rainbow bridge. I remember getting to the vet and he got up to still greet me even tho he was at that stage not looking good to pull though this, he had had is anti-venom and a few other shots. I waited with him as I thought this would be our last time we would spend together. His poor little heart was racing out of his control, I remeber the vet telling me hes not going to make it if his heart does not slow down he was on he way to having a heart attack. I prayed to God to give him another chance, I hugged him and cryed my eyes out when he started to lay down I thought it was the end and the vet checked him, Odie's heart was slowing down, it was at this time there was some hope that he was fighting back to stay with me he would give me a little lick to tell me some thing but in the end he won his fight for life and odie was soon back in the ring showing his stuff. He is really a special malamute he is one of a kind. |
